PURCHASE, N.Y. – Jocelyn Mazo (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) of women's lacrosse has been named the Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Week, announced Monday afternoon for the week ending on Mar 15.

 

The junior defender saw action in all three of the team's games over the past week, where she forced a turnover, grabbed six groundballs, and snatched 13 draw controls. In women's lacrosse's 14-7 win over the Wildcats of SUNY Poly, she was a threat all across the field, scoring two goals with five shots on goal and dishing out one assist.

 

Mazo travels with the rest of her squad down to Doylestown, PA to take on Delaware Valley University on Wednesday, Mar 18, at 4 PM.
