Box Score 2 COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Senior
Alyssa Casino (Rye Brook, N.Y./Maria Regina) recorded 27 digs to become the program's all-time leader with 1,142 for her career as the Manhattanville College women's volleyball team took part in the Ursinus College Tri-Match on Saturday afternoon at Helfferich Hall. The Valiants dropped two matches to Gettysburg and Ursinus by 3-0 scores.
The highlight of the day for Manhattanville was Casino, who surpassed Makana Gomes '11 as the program's all-time digs leader. Making the feat more impressive is the fact that the senior has done it almost exclusively in the last three years, after recording only 21 digs in eight matches as a freshman.

Amanda Materasso (Putnam Valley, N.Y./Putnam Valley) led the Valiants offensively with eight kills and two service aces, followed by junior
Allison Regan (Carmel, N.Y./Carmel) with seven kills on .200 hitting. Sophomore
Megan Quinabo (Pearl City, Hawaii/Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama) also recorded 35 assists, 10 digs and two aces on the afternoon.
Manhattanville ran into a red-hot Gettysburg team in the first match of the day, as the Bullets recorded 43 kills with only nine errors for a sizzling .386 hitting percentage in taking a 3-0 (25-14, 25-10, 25-16) victory over the Valiants.
Courtney Morrow led the Bullets with 13 kills and only one error on 22 attacks (.545 hitting), followed by Stephanie Blair with six kills on seven attempts (.857 hitting) to go with 27 assists, seven service aces and eight digs.
Regan led Manhattanville with six kills and one error for a .357 hitting percentage, followed by sophomore
Sam Miano (Bronx, N.Y./Maria Regina) with four kills on 10 attempts.
Manhattanville fared little better in the second match of the day against the host Bears, following by a 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-19) score to complete the day.
Materasso was the team's top offensive performer in this match, putting down a team-best six kills, followed by freshman
Kerry Mackey (Smithtown, N.Y./Christ the King) with four kills. Casino also set her program record in the final match of the day, leading all players with 19 digs.
Taylor McCartney led all players with nine kills for the Bears, while Gina Powers picked up eight kills on .333 hitting and Allison Raff added seven kills of her own.
