There, Brahm Buoy of DeSales defeated Peredo, and freshman Dylan Mund (Washington Township, N.J./Westwood Regional) fell to Liam King of Scranton (6-0, 6-0).

The Valiants saw success in doubles competition as well. Huertas and Schlapak won their quarterfinal matchup in second doubles against Cameron Tuck and Owen Hegarty of King's (8-1), but dropped their second round matchup to Brian Harkins and Charles Swope of Scranton (8-4).
