PURCHASE, N.Y. – Following the conclusion of the 2022 season, the Manhattanville College men's lacrosse team had a pair of student-athletes recognized on the Skyline Conference's All-Conference Teams. Nick Cornelia (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) was named to the All-Conference Second Team, while Jason Frezza (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Portledge) earned recognition on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Cornelia led the Valiant attack this past season with 52 points, scoring 37 goals and 15 assists, both career-high marks for his senior campaign. The Lindenhurst, N.Y. native was held without a point in just two of Manhattanville's 15 games, scoring a goal in 12 contests. As the calendar flipped from March to April, Cornelia put together his best offensive stretch of the season, scoring 21 points over a three-game stretch from March 30 to April 8. The last game of that streak was a career-high nine point effort against Purchase in which Cornelia scored eight goals in a Manhattanville victory. Cornelia added 25 ground balls and eight caused turnovers on the season.

Frezza concludes his sixth and final season in net for the Valiants with his second-consecutive placement on the Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team. The graduate student started all 15 games for Manhattanville in net, logging more than 819 minutes over the course of the season. Frezza ended the year with a career-high 212 saves and sported a .559 save percentage on the season, making 10 or more saves in 12 games. The Lake Ronkonkoma native has earned multiple placements throughout the program's career record book, ranking third on the career saves list with 649, second in career minutes played with 2775:01, and ranking in the top ten in career save percentage, goals-against average and wins.
