MADISON, N.J. – Sharing the courts with some of the finest talent in the northeast, the Manhattanville University men's tennis team competed in the 2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men's Northeast Regional Championships, hosted by Drew University.

Manhattanville had a pair of Valiants competing in the 64-man singles bracket on Friday. Griffin Forberg (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield-Ludlowe) drew an opening-round matchup against Kavin Shukla of Rochester, falling 6-1, 6-1. Derwin Guzman (Bronx, N.Y./Frederick Douglass Academy) also competed in Friday's action, dropping a 6-1, 6-0 decision to RPI's Archit Yemula.

Over in the 32-team doubles bracket, Lev Uitterhoeve (Maastricht, The Netherlands/Porta Mosana College) and Mario Alcala () teamed up against the tandem of Edvin Strandberg and John Hill-Edgar of St. Lawrence University. The Valiant twosome fell to the Saints' duo, 8-3.
