DeMilio and Garrant Earn All-Conference Nods in Leading Efforts at Skyline Cross Country Championships

PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville University cross country teams wrapped up the 2025 conference season on Sunday, competing at the Skyline Conference Championships hosted by Purchase College. Led by a pair of All-Conference Second Team performances, the men's team placed fourth overall for a second consecutive year, while the Valiant women finished sixth.

Sam Delgado (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) concluded her strong freshman season with a leading effort for the Valiants, placing 17th overall with a time of 27:44.1, knocking more than a minute off her top time in the 6K. Jennifer Oliveros (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) crossed in 23rd, finishing in 29:11.5. Adelina Rodriguez (Westbury, N.Y./Westbury) was the next to finish with a personal-best time of 29:59.3, claiming 33rd.

Lilly Savnik (Mastic, N.Y./William Floyd) improved her 6K time by nearly three minutes with her 40th place finish of 31:07.0. Alicia Bibi (Marlborough, Mass./Marlborough) went on to finish in 52nd, clocking in at 32:16.0 to round out Manhattanville's scorers. While not factoring into the team's scoring, Saage Palmer (Brooklyn, N.Y./Medgar Evers College Preparatory School) also had a strong performance in her collegiate 6K debut, placing 74th with a time of 38:35.5.

After the women's race, the men took to the course for the 8K. Joey DeMilio (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains) and Zach Garrant (Poughkeepsie, NY/Spackenkill High School) finished within a second of one another, placing 13th and 14th respectively. DeMilio made the All-Conference Second Team for a third-consecutive year for placing in the top-14, crossing in 28:11.3. Garrant was right on his tail with his career-best 8K time of 28:11.8 to join DeMilio as an All-Conference performer, the first time the Valiant men had a pair of All-Conference selections since 2019.

The rest of the scoring Valiants placed in the top 50. Courtney Brown (Clarendon, Jamaica/Mount Vernon) was the next Manhattanville runner to cross, placing 29th with a time of 30:33.6. Daniel Baldessarre (Highland Mills, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) clocked in at 30:42.4, placing 32nd, while Danny Noia (Honolulu, Hawaii/McKinley) placed 46th with a split of 32:07.4.

Khalil Williams (Menands, N.Y./Shaker) (76th, 37:28.4) and Aka Udeagha (Rye, N.Y./Rye) (77th, 37:28.9) closed out the Valiant runners that completed the season-ending race.
