PURCHASE, N.Y. – Women's tennis remains untouched after two conference battles this past week, earning Skyline Conference recognition for Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.

Women's Tennis Player of the Week, Adrianna Filippelli (Mastic, N.Y./William Floyd)
Filippelli went two for two in singles matches this week with the 6-0, 6-2 victory over Baruch and the 6-1, 6-0 over UMSV. Outside of singles play, in doubles alongside Addison Ortiz (Bronx, N.Y./High School for Health Professions and Human Services), the victories came in at 6-0 against the Bearcats and 6-2 against the Dolphins.
Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week, Jenifer Lalman (Schenectady, N.Y./Schenectady)
In the close matchday against Baruch College, Lalman dominated the singles count with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. On Saturday, against UMSV, Lalman nabbed her second singles win of the week, 6-3, 7-5, as well as grabbing the doubles win 6-1 with partner Amaya Ortiz (Bronx, N.Y./High School for Health Professions and Human Services)
Up Next – Women's tennis remains on their home courts to face Purchase College for the breast cancer awareness game. Matches are set for Oct. 1st, starting at 4 PM.
