PURCHASE, N.Y. — Manhattanville University women's hockey goaltender Olivia Cimorelli (West Deptford, N.J./The Hill School / Ironbound Elite) has been named United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Women's Goaltender of the Week for the third time this season, for the week of January 5–11, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.

Coming off a long winter break, the Valiants opened the new year with a road trip to SUNY Cortland for a two-game weekend series at the Red Dragons' rink. On Friday night, Cimorelli delivered an outstanding performance between the pipes, making a series of highlight-reel saves to keep Manhattanville within striking distance throughout the contest. She finished the night with 44 saves, posting a .936 save percentage and a 3.05 goals-against average.

Cimorelli's strong play continued on Saturday as she once again anchored the Valiants in a hard-fought match up against Cortland. She turned aside 41 shots, recording a .932 save percentage and a 3.00 goals-against average for the evening.

Cimorelli and the Valiants return to the ice on Tuesday, January 13, when they host Connecticut College at Playland Ice Casino. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 PM.
