3/25/2025 11:25:00 PM

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Esther Ramos (Queens, N.Y./Forest Hills) and Julie Debrocky of the Manhattanville University women's basketball team were appointed to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team as unveiled by the organization on Tuesday.

CSC honors and celebrates the academic and athletic successes of student-athletes with the Academic All-District® Team. All student-athletes with standing of sophomore or greater both academically and athletically were eligible for nomination to the team this year. Athletes needed to have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average while competing in 90 percent of their institution's games or making starts in 66 percent of the team's games.

Both Ramos and Debrocky enjoyed selection to the Skyline All-Conference Team last month for their performances on the court for the Valiants this season, with Ramos making the Skyline First Team and Debrocky voted to the Second Team.

Ramos made the CSC Academic All-District® Team for her second-straight year of eligibility, maintaining her academic successes while seeing her role on the hardwood increasing significantly her junior year. Ramos played in all 25 games this past season and made 24 starts, playing a career-high 687 minutes for a rate of 27.5 minutes per game. She was Manhattanville's leading rebounder in the 2024-25 campaign, pulling down 179 caroms. In addition to her career-high board total, Ramos set new single-season highs with her 56 assists, 40 steals, seven blocks and 280 points.

Debrocky is a first-time member of the Academic All-District® Team as she also saw her role this past year transition into a member of the Valiants' starting five. The junior was one of two players to start in all 25 games this season, with her 30.6 minutes per game ranking second on the team. Debrocky led the Valiants in scoring with 289 points, averaging 11.6 per contest. She was Manhatanville's top deep threat, hitting 52 three-pointers and connecting at a .385 clip from beyond the arc.
