PURCHASE, N.Y. – Skyline Conference weekly awards announced on Sept. 8 recognized two Valiant student-athletes for their efforts during the week—honorable mentions earned by women's soccer and men's cross country.

Skyline Conference Women's Soccer Weekly Report – September 8

Macey Girard (Branford, Conn./Branford)

Over the two matches in the week, Girard faced 43 shots and recorded 10 saves with a .693 save percentage. Girard became the eighth player in Manhattanville women's soccer program history to reach 250 career saves in the contest against New Jersey City on Sept. 2.  

The senior goalkeeper enters the third week of the season with 54 shots faced, 17 saves, and a .680 save percentage.

Skyline Conference Men's Cross Country Weekly Report – September 8

Joey DeMilio (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains)

The senior led the way for the Valiants in the 6000 M race. DeMilio earned 40th overall, posting a time of 22:23.7, just under two minutes off his personal best 20:46.3 recorded Sept. 1, 2023.
