PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Skyline Conference announced weekly awards for the week ending on April 5, naming Ryan McCann (Medford, N.Y./Longwood) Pitcher of the Week and Jack Moeller (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) Rookie of the Week.

 

Moeller sent seven hits off his bat in five games, reaching a season-high five-game hitting streak. In the week, he recorded two doubles and two home runs, with five RBIs and five runs.

McCann threw his fifth career complete shutout against New Paltz with a season-high seven strikeouts while allowing only two hits and two walks. With the seven strikeouts, he has sent down 125, moving him to third in the Valiants' record book.
