DANBURY, Conn. - Senior Ryan McCann (Medford, N.Y./Longwood) of Manhattanville University's baseball team added another honor to his final season. McCann was selected to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) 2026 Division III Baseball All-ECAC Team, as announced by the organization on Friday.

The Medford, N.Y. native was named to the All-ECAC team after another excellent season for the Valiants in which he became the first in program history to be named ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Region III Pitcher of the Year. He also became the second player in Manhattanville history to earn All-America honors from the ABCA. Furthermore, McCann was named to the ABCA's Region III All-Region First Team and to the D3baseball All-Region Region 3 Second Team.

Posting his best season of his four-year tenure at Manhattanville, McCann finished the year with a 9-1 record and five complete games with 65.1 innings of work. Amongst the Valiants' arms, he held the lowest WHIP of the season at 1.16 and the lowest batting average against at .268.

He continued to cement his legacy by breaking the previous program record for most wins. With 19 victories on the mound, he is now the winningest pitcher in program history. During his senior season, he fired 65.1 innings, the most by any pitcher on the team this season and the sixth-most in Manhattanville history. He holds the ninth-lowest single-season ERA at 2.76, ranks fifth in career starts at 32. McCann dominated the strike zone this season 53 strikeouts to just six walks, with a season-high 7 punchouts against New Paltz on April 3 and Purchase on April 26.
