Ryan Costa (Bayport, N.Y./Bayport Blue-Point)—from Manhattanville University's baseball team earned their first appointment to this year's team.
Eligibility for the Academic All-District
® Team was open to student-athletes with academic and athletic standing as sophomores or greater. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and make at least 17 appearances or pitch 35 innings on the mound. He would go on to strike out 18 batters and achieve a season-high four in three innings against Mt. St. Vincent on April 20.

Costa achieved a season-high of seven innings against both St. Elizabeth on March 15 and Farmingdale on March 30. He ended the year with a 3-2 record and a 5.17 ERA. The sports studies major struck out 30 batters, the third-most on the team, and held a season-high five punchouts against St. Elizabeth on March 15, Mt.
