PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville University Department of Athletics sent a conference-best 121 student-athletes to the Skyline Conference's 2023-24 Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference earlier on Monday.

The Skyline recognized 850 total student-athletes for the 2023-24 winter and spring sports seasons across the conference's 12 full-time members and two associate members competing in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track and field, softball, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's tennis and men's volleyball. Student-athletes that earned a cumulative grade point average of a 3.3 or higher were recognized by Skyline Conference Commissioner Melissa Reilly for their academic accomplishments.

"We are thrilled to honor Skyline Conference student-athletes for their academic success," Reilly said. "Academics are a priority for our student-athletes and our member institutions. These individuals have achieved greatness both on the field and in their academic pursuits. I would like to congratulate each and every one of our recipients."

This is the second time in the last three years that Manhattanville had more than 100 student-athletes named to the conference's Academic Honor Roll. The Valiants sent 103 appointees to the 2021-22 iteration of the Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.

The Valiants' appointees were led by 28 from the baseball team, with men's lacrosse shortly behind with 22 honorees. Women's lacrosse had 15 selections, while the men's and women's basketball teams had 14 and 12 student-athletes earn Academic Honor Roll status, respectively. Softball finished as the final Manhattanville team with double-digit honorees with 11 selected. The men's and women's track and field teams each had five honorees, a total matched by men's tennis, while men's volleyball rounded out the field with four appointees.
